Options & Costs
Access to all modules is password protected unless paying via credit card.
| Credentials for logging onto the system to view modules are
obtained from your paying entity (such as: school district, school campus, PTA,
etc.) or, as an individual, when you directly purchase a module/s via credit
card (just click on the Individual
Registration link on the sidebar.)
IndividualsIndividuals may access modules whenever they choose. The cost is $10.00 per module for a one-time viewing and the generation of your CPE certificate. Individuals may use a credit card for payment purposes.
(If your school district is paying this fee for you, a "purchase order" may be used and a pin number will be generated and given to your district administrator who will provide it to you).
If you would like to immediately purchase a module as an individual please go to the Individual Registration link on the sidebar to your left.
|There are 3 tiers of service options/costs to select
(Note: The following options are available to school districts, cooperatives, and SSA's. The term "district" is used below but may be applied to all of these educational service arrangements.) We typically utilize a purchase order (PO) process for billing. Districts may begin using the modules as soon as a PO is generated. Payment does not have to be received before your staff can begin to access the modules on-line.

Tier One - "District-wide Site License" (Comprehensive District-wide Access)This option allows for ALL district teachers/staff/administrators to access as many modules as they want, as often as they want. In essence, every educator in your district is included in Tier One. In addition, any modules that are added to the website during the contract year are also included for unlimited staff viewing. Tier One is offered on an annual 12-month basis (regardless of when starting date begins, access is covered for one calendar from the starting date. For ex: Aug. 1, 2008 thru July 31, 2009). The cost is based on the size (total number of students enrolled) of each school district. We have chosen this statistic as it correlates well with the approximate number of personnel from each district who will be utilizing the modules.
Enrollment figures are based on the total enrollment of the most recently completed school year. (For example: if you want to have a district-wide license for the 2008-09 year, we will base the fee on the 2007-08 year).
Tier Two - "Campus Site License" (Limited Campus Access)This option allows for ALL teachers/staff/administrators from a designated school campus to access as many modules as they want as often as they want. Only personnel from a specific campus(s) are included in Tier Two. In addition, any modules that are added to the website during the contract year are also included for unlimited staff viewing for the campuses so designated under the "campus site license."
Tier Two is also offered on an annual 12-month basis (regardless of when starting date begins, access is covered for one calendar from the starting date).
The cost is based on the campus the modules are to be made available to, and are as follows on a "per campus" basis:
*Intermediate/Junior High School campus
*High School campus
Note: A special campus includes single grade campus (such as 6th grade or 9th grade centers), pre-school campus, alternative school campus, or other similar, unique campus arrangements.
Tier Three - "Special Staff License" (Limited Staff Access)This option allows for district personnel who are assigned to multiple campuses (e.g., school psychologists, educational diagnosticians, behavior specialists, itinerant teachers, paraprofessionals, etc.), or district central administrators (e.g., special education administrators, assistant superintendents, curriculum directors) or any other district personnel who are not covered by a campus license. Under a Tier Three option, these personnel may access as many modules as they want, as often as they want during the year. In addition, any modules that are added to the website during the contract year are also included for unlimited staff viewing for those specifically included within the "special staff license."
Tier Three is offered on an annual 12-month basis (regardless of when starting date begins, access is covered for one calendar from the starting date).
The cost is based on the number of staff/personnel who will be using the modules.
Special financial arrangements may be made with The Teaching Zone for districts that have circumstances that may require some adjustments in fee structure.
